This is the most worth to see route of the island,
because it passes through the mountain villages
of Zeus mountain and to enjoy the other side of
the Cycladic beauty, the hilly landscapes, which
is a rare picture in whole Cyclades.
You will meet Belonia Tower (6 km) with the small
church, while 12,5 km away is the short cut on
the right that leads to Agiassos Bay.
Later you will go to Chalki, where is the Barotsi
Tower. Continuing you will meet Filoti, the largest
village of the island, 8 km before Apeiranthos.
In Apeiranthos you should visit the Folkloric
Museum and then you should make a shortcut towards
Moutsouna beach. But if you would like, you can
continue towards Apollonas, making a stop to Koronos
and Koronida, that are built in the highest point
of the village.
