Agios Georgios
A golden sandy beach, organized and awarded a “Blue Flag” is located only two minutes away from Astir of
Naxos and 3 minutes from Chora. An ideal beach for families and children that provides shallow waters but also
a meeting point for the fans of windsurfing and water sports.
Agios Prokopios
One of the most famous beaches on the Cyclades with 2 km length! Few minutes away from Chora and the port
of Naxos, its crystal waters give you the impression of swimming into a large pool! The white sand that
covers the beach creates a unique and beautiful sight, and as an organized beach is a recommended option
for families but also for those who want to combine relaxation and fun.
Agia Anna
It’s the natural continuation of Agios Prokopios beach towards the south part of the island. The cedar forest
accompanied by the blue waters and the white sand creates beautiful scenery which is also protecting the
visitors from the hot summer sun. The beach is organized and its sheltered bays put her in to one of the
most famous Naxos beaches. While you are there don’t forget to visit the small church of Agia Anna, at
the right side of the seacoast.
Mikri Vigla
If you are a fan of windsurfing or kite surfing, then you must have heard of Mikri Vigla, a well-known beach
for the fans of the surfing. It’s a narrow bay and therefore it is protected, while a huge rock is separating
it from the Partheno and Limanaki. It ranks among the most beautiful beaches of the island while one more
unique factor of Mikri Vigla is the white coarse sand.
Kastraki
Kastraki beach is located southern than Mikri Vigla and it is also covered with white sand and crystal
turquoise waters. It is 3 km long consequently it is the largest beach of the island and one of the largest
in the complex of Cyclades. It is ideal for moments of tranquility and relaxation under the Aegean sun.
Moutsouna
The bay of Moutsouna is located at the east side of the island and consists of two beaches (Tigani and Agios
Ioannis) with fine sand and crystal clean waters. If trekking is one of your favorite activities you can
get to Moutsouna following a path of unrivalled beauty. At the beginning of the path you will find the
traditional and famous village of Apeiranthos.
Psili Ammos (fine sand)
In a short distance from the bay of Moutsouna there is a beach that just as its name reveals in Greek (Psili)
it is covered with fine sand combined with shallow deep blue waters and an impressive cedar forest. One of
the most beautiful beaches in the island worth to be visited by any traveler!
Agiasos
Agiasos is located at the southwest side of the island and it is one of the most tranquil beaches of Naxos
with small creeks, sandy coastline and traditional little taverns. An ideal beach for the fishing lovers!
Pyrgaki
Another impressive beach covered with fine white sand, where you can enjoy relaxing moments and swimming
while you can admire the magnificent view of nearby islands Ios and Irakleia.
The bay of Abram
The bay of Abram is located on the northwest side of Naxos, and combines pebble with sand. The impressive
setting is created combining plenty of trees and a small river. During the period of “meltemia”, the bay
is also a meeting point for the windsurfers as well as Mikri Vigla beach.
